Εκπόνηση Διπλωματικής εργασίας
Design and implementation of a mobile prototype for the measurement of different gases using infrared spectroscopy.
The infrared part of the prototype will be bought after market search and is not part of the diploma thesis.
The diploma thesis will be focused on the control of the IR-source and detector as well as peripherals (pumps etc.)
via µ-controller or raspberry and programming (C++ or similar language) of the collection of the IR data followed by
their Fourier transformation and comparison with a list of known IR peaks (already estimated via FTIR-spectroscopy of pure gases)
in order to detect the unknown gas(es).
The diploma thesis could be combined with an ERASMUS+ stay in the Clausthal University of Technology in Germany
